Chapter 10—Relationships…sigh!

God’s design of Love for you is not like anyone else’s. It’s HIS Love for you that defines it. And He knows you fully and what will make you fruitful and happy. There is enough Love to go around, since He is the source of it and He is infinite and active. We want the RIGHT relationship, not just any relationship (trust me on this!), or to discover a true contentment and expressive love in our singleness. And that’s what God wants, too. Envy has us distracted from Love loving US, by coveting another’s life and Love, which is not right for us! We miss our own good that way.

Also be careful that you are not feeling loss or disappointment based on a conditioned sense of what is supposed to be the rose-lined path to contentment. There is no one right way or one right time. There’s no such thing as too late, or too old or too hurt or too damaged. Divine Love is not hindered by those things, and wipes them all away.
