Chapter
13—Being willing and not willful
God’s will, our intended life, is that which fits us best,
utilizes us most completely and rightly, and causes us to flourish.
Our intended life is not one of resignation and loss—missed
opportunities, broken relationships, closed doors, and closed
minds. Our intended life is one that is thorough according to
God’s own perfect sense of what that means—it both
thrills and satisfies. It is exciting and sweet. It blesses
and is blessed. It expands, multiplies and achieves a perfect
balance. It is unique and sculpted just for us by the Master.
